Sitters (sign in with Google)

When you sign in we store your Google name, email address and profile picture, and the access tokens Google issues (encrypted). The app uses these Google permissions only to run your bookings: • read your calendar list, free/busy times and events, to show your calendar and work out when you are free • create and change events only in the app's own calendar (availability and bookings) • send emails from your Gmail about booking requests, approvals and cancellations Your calendar events are read live and not stored. Families only ever see your free times.

Families (booking links)

When you request a booking we store your name, email address, optional message and the requested time. They are used to handle the request, add it to the sitter's calendar and email you updates. Only the sitter who sent you the link sees them.

Google user data

This app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared with anyone except as needed to provide the booking features.

Legal basis, hosting and cookies

Processing is needed to provide the service you use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data is stored on a server rented from Oracle Cloud; emails and calendar entries go through Google. The site only sets cookies needed for sign-in and your language; there is no tracking or analytics.

Storage and deletion

Data is kept while you use the app. Email the address above to have your account or your booking data deleted. You can also remove the app's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
